Great Service but boxes arrived incredibly damaged

The service was great and relatively straightforward, however the boxes arrived and were completely battered with a number of large holed in them. Luckily we wrapped them in baggage wrap otherwise the boxes would not have lasted the journey, as they had clearly not been handled with a lot of care. Fortunately it was only clothes so nothing was damaged. I would recommend wrapping boxes too if you are planning to use this service.

Good Customer Service, Slow Delivery

Everyone who helped us was great, but it took almost four times as long as in the initial estimate. Luckily there were no perishables nor hard deadlines on our end.

Customer-oriented service

BaggageHub helped me relocate across the Atlantic. The service is efficient, the advisors are customer-oriented and friendly, and the prices are very decent. BaggageHub sent me boxes and tape in advance so I could pack my belongings, and all the services were provided in a timely manner. Only minuses: three of my boxes opened due to rough handling and I lost a certain amount of books, maybe stronger tape (this one was really weak) and more of it (depending on how many boxes you have) would have helped. Moreover, there were a few misunderstandings related to IT. I thought I had uploaded all my documents but it turns out the platform only accepts one single document for each step, so I had to pay an extra fee; and I received an email two hours before pickup saying I had to print and paste additional labels on my boxes, yet I don't have a printer and two hours aren't a lot. With these few adjustments made, BaggageHub will be your top notch choice for smaller relocations.

Shipment eventually arrived

Found communications lacking from beginning to end. I had to call the courier company in the destination country at great cost to myself to resolve an address query that has already been resolved before the shipment left- by the shipping company had not actioned. This encounter was very disappointing as I had organised the shipment to arrive well before the date it was reqired by the recipient- it ended up being a month late!

Good with everything but the actual move

I really appreciated Baggage Hub in the lead up to my move. They sent the packing materials which was great. They had great customer service, and they have a customer portal with a checklist of all the things you need to do prior to them picking up the boxes which I found to be such a help. They even had the customs documents that I needed to fill out. That customer portal made me want to highly recommend them BUT then the actual move happened, and I was pretty disappointed with the delivery. I was very diligent and thoughtful about how I packed everything in the boxes but sadly had so many things broken when the boxes arrived. This means their handling of my things was not very careful. And considering the moving of my things was the number 1 reason I hired them, I really expected this to be the thing they needed to deliver 100% on and they didn't. My things did arrive in a very timely manner, but I would have rather them taken a little longer to arrive and none of my things be broken!!
