Bugs, Communication Issues, Wrong Items
I ordered about 10 beautiful krosswood doors from Home Depot and received them without an issue. I liked them so much I decided to order an entry door to match, directly through krosswood this time.
Upon placing the order online, I realized there was no option to pick a stain on the website, so I immediately emailed to notify krosswood that I wanted it stained a specific color. No reply after a few days so I sent another email to sarah@krosswood rather than the generic help email.
No reply before I got a shipping email so I called the customer service number and was told I'd have to send additional payment in order to get the stain. Fine, I may not have bought it from krosswood if I knew that ahead of time, but fine.
Door finally arrives, contractor informs me it's the wrong handing. I confirm that it's different handing than the one on my order details. Then I realize it's not even the right door - looked like an interior door with exterior jambs, no window, no bars, totally wrong.
Several more emails, calls, and points of contact later and it's finally on its way. Will it be right when arrives? Chances aren't looking good.
