Store is good and easy to order, shipment fast. Returning an item and getting a refund took long time and had to sollecitate.

Your website promised it would be delivered on Tuesday. I could see it left you on the Monday, but Royal Mail didn’t try to deliver it until Wednesday - I knew I’d be out - I had aimed for Tuesday for a reason. Rather than it going straight to the depot where I might have been able to pick it up, they tried again the next day. Again, I knew I’d be out. Had to arrange a redelivery for Sat, so in the end it took a week. I know it wasn’t really your fault, but if it needs to be signed for then it would be better to have the option to pick a delivery day at check out because the service you paid for with Royal Mail didn’t seem to guarantee next day delivery.

the knife i received was not finished very well and had imperfection which i did not expect for the price i paid.the openening pad on blade had split uneven metal protruding which i hav now filed back and the blade on the back edge had unfinished surface breakiking up the back line edge

Bought the Higonokami Stainless Steel, it's ok but expected it to feel better quality. Also wasn't that impressed with the sharpness, it was sharp but not as sharp as I had experience with other kitchen knife brands though this may be just a matter of fact with a smaller blade / type of blade it is. From using it in the garden it did get rust spots easily (plant sap/juice), although they did come off I had to thoroughly clean it to do so (no such problems with my worldly kitchen knives). Again, I would hope this is because it's a lower priced product and not an analogue of the much more expensive knives TOG offer.

I think my Higonokami Classic is a bit of cast iron ground to form a sharp blade. I can see cast lines all the way around. So this means the blade opening lever was not forged by hand as seen on several sites and youtube but part of the casting . Zoom in to pics and you can see the lines
