We're very pleased with our purchase. We went with the black leather and walnut in the tall size, and it's beautiful. It arrives disassembled, which is great for getting it into the house if you have a narrow entry. Assembly was straight-forward; however, getting some of the screws aligned to attach the armrests was a small challenge but in the end not a huge deal. Overall, very pleased and would highly recommend as a quality much lower cost alternative to the real thing.

It all worked well - the only question I had was the silence between the purchase and the eventual shipping notice. A few auto-email updates would have made me feel more comfortable but it worked out perfectly.

It's perfect and so comfortable that it's difficult to leave. Sturdy, well-made, designed to look just like the real Eames. Yes, it makes that exhaling sound when you (finally) get up but I don't mind that at all. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat (and my husband just might buy one.) The shipping and delivery were also great - the cardboard box was so strong it could have been an old-fashioned wooden shipping box. Putting it together was easy, too.
