This one is not for me!
Dear Simba,
Quite frankly I am very disappointed with your company.
I did 10 months of research prior to ordering a Simba king size mattress. From all the reviews and the information on your website, I thought I had found the answer to my sleepless nights due to arthritic back pain. I also tried the mattress a number of times at John Lewis to make sure that it was the one for me. Unfortunately when my mattress arrived, it never seemed to settle to be as soft and comfortable as those I had tried and neither myselfnor my partner were able to sleep on the mattress. In fact it exacerbated my back pain and eventually I had to go back to my original mattress and return the Simba. There was no problem returning the mattress and my refund was returned promptly; however, at the time of ordering the mattress, I also ordered the kings size bedding bundle and whilst the pillows and mattress protector arrived with my order, the outlast quilt did not. My order was place on December 13th and I received the items, all bar the quilt on December 27th. I was told the quilt would be delivered on this day along with everything else and it did not arrive. After over and hour spent online with your help chat, I was told that the quilt was out of stock and that it would be arriving mid January. I have still received no correspondence from you regarding the quilt nor have I been able to obtain a refund which is now my preferred course of action. I have had to go out and purchase another quilt in the meantime. Whilst your online Chat was very helpful, your lack of communication has let me down and indicates to me that once you have received payment for goods, you are not interested in customer satisfaction.
I also emailed you regarding the mattress I returned. When I went looking to buy an alternative at John Lewis, we once again tried the Simba to compare with the Hypnos that we purchased. It was very comfortable and it would have been great had the Simba we received been of a similar softness. The email I sent to you highlighted that there may have been a fault with the one we received. You did not even acknowledge the email!!
Your poor customer service and lack of communication make you one of the worst company’s I have ever dealt with.
