Long story short - The
Long story short - The agent I was ultimately working with delivered the message internally and I was able to get my desk. There was an issue with the website accepting my Credit Union issue Visa and I was eventually shipped the desk which arrived with little to no issue in a short amount of time.
Full story - I started shopping for my ideal desk in September, picked out what I wanted and then attempted to purchase, I received an error that my address was not accepted. I struggled with this error on my own - attempting variations of my address and I struggled with this error with the first agent I spoke with and I was pretty much referred to a local dealer.
Through attempting to email back and forth (with no response), asking for my friend's and family addresses to be reviewed and I was not able to ship this desk to anyone in my state, I called back and spoke with someone who did attempt to troubleshoot the issue with me and then escalated this internally and then I was provided the solution of attempting another form of payment (which wasn't ideal).
The desk weighs about as much as I do, I am glad I did not try to purchase this desk from a local vendor and try to negotiate it myself. I was able to get this desk in December and ultimately this is the desk I wanted and I am happy with it. I am hoping there will be no issues with the actual desk as time goes on, I use the sit -stand/stand -sit functionality once every other work day.
5 stars if I did not encounter some anomaly in the website code with payment and if my emails had been answered or investigated sooner. I am pleased with the person I spoke with over the phone who ultimately helped me, and I am happy I did not buy a desk of Amazon.
