Can't complain about the service. I realized after ordering that design milk doesn't stock the products, that it's the artists who ship the products directly and possibly they are also the ones assuming the shipping costs, which is not cool, if you ask me.

I ordered an item and I am based in Canada. Not Design Milk’s fault directly but the item, which costs about $150, came delivered with a COD fee or an importa tax added cost of $71! I refused to pay and sent it back to UPS. About a week or two later, it came back delivered with the fees paid. I was confused as there were no explanation and no one had reached out to me. I called UPS to enquire and they said the bill had been paid by the shipper (no mention of Design Milk specifically). I assume UPS contacted Design Milk to try to return the product once they saw I wasn’t picking it up and perhaps DM decided to cover those extra fees? I’ll never know the exact story but I am very happy with my Aspen magazine rack! Only issue is that next time, I won’t be able to know in advance what the import taxes will be (I had ordered another item before and this did not happen).
