I’ve been using an older gooseneck for making pour over coffee for years, and it worked fine. Just bought the Baristan a couple weeks ago as a house warming gift to myself and WOW! This thing makes my coffee ritual enjoyable and exciting again. I can pour at a very slow and steady rate without disturbing the coffee at all. The handle is very comfortable to hold, even with a full kettle there’s no strain anywhere on my wrist. Takes just as long as any other kettle to boil. And it looks nice! I would highly recommend this kettle to any coffee or tea enthusiast
