Calling this a mixer is a big understatement! It’s a mighty machine that does the best job ever on bread dough. The family gifted me first another brand (sounds like Band Aid) and I was super frustrated by the operation and the weight of the mixer. Back it went! This is the one I should have had from the start, because bagels, bread and cookie dough are my main uses for a heavy-duty mixer. It created the very best dough for both bagels and bread, absolutely no comparison to the conventional stand mixer. I was unaware of the blender option until after purchase, what a concept! Customer service was astoundingly helpful. Here is my favorite part: no complex speeds to choose. Simple, efficient pulse mode (or momentary) or speeds 1-4. Bam. That frankly is all you need. Also, the machine comes with an anti-flour-cloud prevention cover so mixing stays where it belongs, in the bowl, not in the air. Hands down, get the mixer.
