I love sleeping on this mattress. Super comfortable and supportive. I still sweat the bed, but I think it might be because of the base not allowing air flow. There was zero stink when we opened the mattress. We just purchased a cheap memory foam mattress for a son in college. It stunk, and probably still does. I really appreciated our mattress not having that chemical smell
