Lick

I used this colour in a north facing utility room and must say that the colour appears so much darker than on the chart and on the tin, in fact it looks a totally different colour ! . I don't dislike it but also don't love it either ,

It took four weeks for the paint to cure to a point where it didn’t feel tacky. ! The paint was applied to knotted, primed (Ronseal int/ext wood primer - always been excellent for everything else) pine skirting board. Several thin coats were applied at a minimum of 24 hour intervals. Could not pick up the boards even 2 weeks later without leaving fingerprints.

This is a nice colour paint but the writing on the tin to tell you whether its Matt or Silk is too small. We painted our entire bedroom in this and did a 2nd coat only to find the 2nd coat was in silk not Matt do now we have to do a third coat in Matt and another £50 on another tin of paint. I just thought it only came in Matt because it said walls and ceilings. Maybe I should have looked closer but it wasnt obvious at all to me on the shelf.

The paint is fantastic, it cannot be faulted. If I were only rating the product it would be 5 stars for sure. What is hugely frustrating is that the paint only comes in massive tins, I recently contacted them as I did my whole double fronted living room with it two years ago. I did have some left over for touch ups in between now and then (door handles banging, kids stupidity etc) however I’ve since ran out, I’ve just contacted customer services and been informed the only tin I can buy is another £45 pot. Very disappointing

Loved your paint and have loved it since a couple of years ago before the dreaded brexit happened. It’s thick and paints like a dream. The colour is luscious and bold. I would definitely recommend others! Unfortunately, while it states that EU import tax is already paid when ordering, I was asked to pay the tax by the delivery company. Because I was in a hurry to receive the paint, I paid it… but sent in an enquiry to LICK to clarify this unfortunate situation. It’s been 2 weeks but no reply yet. I understand you guys are busy, but maybe another automated email or something would be nice.
