Just attended a knife sharpening class taught by Robbie — he was patient and broke down every step for sharpening blades by hand. Over the last month I've also bought a bunch of knives both online and in-store, and the staff has been incredibly helpful every time. Highly recommend visiting and supporting this local Canadian business!

I had a great time at the sharpening class. I travelled from Kitchener and It was totally worth the travel time. (here to hoping they open a Kitchener store) Everyone at the store was very helpful, friendly and kind. I felt welcomed which is very hard to come by specifically in retail enviroment. I had a basic understanding of using stones but needed some extra guidance because i felt that i was not getting the edge i wanted from my knives. Robbie did a great job at helping me clear some of those doubts. I had a few more questions but i'm pretty sure folks at knifewear would be more than helpful to answer those when I visit next time. I had a pleasure of talking to Miachel at the store who let me try some of the knives I always wanted to try and help me guide for my future possible purchases. As ex industry person Miachel was very good at answering very task specific questions I had about some specific knives and shapes. I would highly recommend this class to everyone.
