Unpleasant experience with shipping

Hi, Honestly, we absolutely fell in love with the style, design and appearance of easy closets cabinets and couldn't wait for it to be installed in our garage, though it was a bit on expensive side for us. But after waiting a while for it to be delivered(which is still understandable), we finally received it and booked a handyman immediately to get it installed. Packages were big and heavy enough, so we waited for handyman to open them. When opened we found that 5 of the legs were missing. We checked everything on our end and then contacted customer service. We were made to wait for couple hours till a representative vcalled us back saying that they ran out of legs and so 5 of or legs will be shipped separately. On further inquiry, they said it will shipped tonight(the day when our handyman is already working on it) and will take a week to be delivered. This experience is very frustrating given that there was no communication at all from easy closets side that there was this separate pkg of legs which was yet to be shipped. We are now just going to pay our handyman with no closets installed. It messes up our budget and our schedule. We can understand the reason for delay, but not communicating it to us is what frustrates us. We still love the product, but just expect some responsible exchange of important information when we are putting so much trust in you. Again, we still love the product but sorry to say that this experience was not even close to smooth.

Base cabinet issues

I have had problems with the base cabinets (no predrilled holes) and have not received any communications as to when the replacement will be shipped. I shouldn't have to pay full price because your poor quality assurance on the base cabinets (2) that I purchased. I reported the problem 4/7. I can't complete my installation until I receive the corrected product. I understand the dynamics of what the coronavirus has caused. But the product was not right.

Disappointment

I am very disappointed in the EasyGarage system I just ordered. The problems started as soon as I started to unpack all the boxes. The labelling of the individual pieces had worn off and many items on the packing list did not have part numbers. Installation became akin to a solving a jigsaw puzzle, but one where you can’t make a mistake, because with particle board you really only get one chance to get it right. I had hired a professional to do the installation and it took him 3 days, essentially doubling my installation cost and the design was not that fancy, 3 lower cabinets, two upper cabinets, and three 72-inch-high units. Calling wasn’t a great help as frequently calls were returned. Their so-called professional designer who I asked to review my plan, could not tell me how much slat wall molding to order since he did not know what it was. In his review of the plan, he also didn’t notice that one of the base cabinets was not as deep as the others. We made it work, as I didn’t want my garage out of commission for another week (at best) for a replacement. Several pre-drilled holes were the wrong size requiring a different screw/washer. Finally, when all was installed, the fit on the drawers is not that great and the doors don’t slide that smoothly. I have used EasyCloset several times with great success and high satisfaction. EasyGarage, not so much. Two stars only because my wife said that she didn’t think I was getting something so fancy.
