The appeal of this product is two-fold: the forms are super simple to install, use, and snap off. Much easier than creating forms from scratch. Second, Counterform additives in conjunction with the mesh eliminate needing to add metal reinforcement to the concrete, simplifying the pour immensely. Everything worked pretty well for me, but I should have watched the demo videos more closely. I have finished concrete many times and found that it did not behave like regular concrete does: no slurry, and not much excess water. This threw me off a bit, but working it made of a flat surface and I got a great finish.
