5 John Street This was

5 John Street This was my first summer living in NYC and I had an amazing experience with the community I lived with at 55 John Street through EHS. Living in the Financial District at such a wondering building, made coming home after my summer internship an exciting part of my day. I would highly recommend living at 55 John Street if you're looking for a location in an amazing part of Manhattan, close to public transportation, and a building that provides a positive atmosphere throughout the day.

I lived in EHS this

I lived in EHS this past summer at the 55 John Street location. I chose it for the location and because it was more affordable than other housing options. EHS was a no brainer and an easy process. Because there was no housing lottery I knew where I'd be staying months ahead of moving in. The staff was friendly and always put on fun weekly events like kayaking, seeing Shakespeare in the park, and touring the top of Freedom Tower. Even if you didn't want to participate in these activities they always had great recommendations for things to do with your friends around the city. The building had a solid gym facility with weights and treadmills, always felt safe courtesy of the security staff, was quiet at night, had adjustable A/C, and was all around everything I wanted for my summer living situation.

I had an exceptional experience

I had an exceptional experience living through the Education Housing Services this past summer. I lived in the Marymount Dorms in New York and could've of asked for a better summer. The building was walking distance from my office, the workers were so kind, and everyone went out of their way to be nice and considerate. My roommates were chosen randomly and we got along very well. We still keep in touch today. I would highly recommend using EHS!

Would definitely stay again

Living in a single at the New Yorker was overall a great experience. It was my first time living in a busy city like NYC so I was a bit nervous. EHS staff did an amazing job with activities, move-in, move-out and much more. They were able to answer questions promptly, help with room issues, etc. Because of the location of the New Yorker, you are swamped with a bunch of things to do during your free time. EHS does a great job organizing activities to get to know more about the city as well as meet other residents. I am satisfied with this experience and would definitely do it over again if given the chance.
