I ordered a medium size
I ordered a medium size hoyer sling. I received a large size due to a backorder. I tried it and it's uselessly too big. Those extra few inches on dimensions mean he can't clear the sides of his safety bed. Never had this problem with any other slings. I don't understand why someone didn't reach out to me to ask if I wanted to wait until July or have a refund before mailing the sling. What's the point of going to the trouble to measure for the right size only to get another size. Customer service was polite, but did not offer any refund. I could spend that money on a sling from another company that carries the size I want. I don't just need the sling in July. I need it now. I understand that everyone at AMICA is doing their job as best as possible and following protocol. I have no issue with my interactions. I'd only ask that the company review their shipping policy relating to when a product is out of stock. Customer should have option to refuse replacement item before shipped and be able to get a refund so funds can be applied else where. This this a necessity not a luxury.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter written in frustration. I can appreciate that reading these kinds of reviews is not enjoyable.
