Overall the was always good but at the moment I am very disappointed because I am still waiting on an order. it has been a while that I have been waiting. it is take longer then usual this time. Order no. #56142

Got bad sore throat after using it for 2 weeks & continue getting them

I'm on my second VocalMist. My first one never worked properly. We tugged at the little metal connector points, cleaned it out ... but the charge never lasted more than one use. We got a new cup. Still only worked when it wanted to, and sometimes even after a charge refused to mist. Then, after two years, it just stopped misting altogether. So I bought a new one. This one happily does seem to hold a charge for TWO cycles, at least. But halfway through, it gives me an inhaled mouthful of liquid instead of mist. Customer service was slow to respond with back and forth emails (why is there no phone number?!), but I did eventually get a new solution cup.... which STILL occasionally gives me a mouthful of liquid (and it's not insignificant; it's about a 1/4 the liquid packed just going straight into my mouth). It's not about how I'm holding it, and this never happened with the first unit. So, new unit, new issues. Tempted to give up and use the cheap nebulizer I found online, because I do like the mist packets, and they work just as well in the $40 unit that holds a charge for several uses and actually properly nebulizes the liquid.

The vocal mist seems to give me a pretty noticeable sore throat every time I use it. Not sure what the issue is. I’ve followed all the instructions. Sort of a bummer. Any other customers have this experience?
