I feel silly having spent so much money on this device. Plus, it’s design needs improvement. I’ve burned my head a few times because the heating element is exposed to much at its sides. This isn’t the first time I work with hot iron or hot curl devices so it’s not a user problem.

Customer service was awesome! I returned my curling iron and received a full refund within 10 days. I gave the three stars for that reason. However, I did not like the curling at all. It is basically a flat iron that is suppose to make it easier to curl your hair. Maybe if I had more time on my hands I could have learned how to use it. The company did offer one on one video help, but I just don't have the time to learn to use a product like this. If you hold your hand slightly different then you get a different curl (each time). That was very frustrating to me. The construction of the curling iron was moderate, not exceptional for the $190 that they are asking. I hope this helps you decide if you want to buy or not.

I followed the videos, tried everything, and cannot get my Tyme to curl my hair. and the 1 time I actually did get a curl, it wasn't very pretty. The videos make it look so easy, and it's not.

It's a great straightener. The video makes curling your hair look a lot easier than it is. I could of bought a stand alone straightener and saved $100.
