The smell is not to good, the real question is how long it last

I have a ton of long thin curly color treated hair and live in a humid environment. I’m no stranger to keratin treatments. I have done three salon treatments all with varying results, and all very costly. I followed this treatment to the letter and it works! As with any major treatment, you should follow directions and be relatively knowledgable on what you are doing. My hair is straight and shiny. So far three weeks in, it is still working well and I have not seen any adverse effects to my hair in fact it looks healthier than it did pre-treatment. I do follow all the protocol from my salon treatments. I use a sulfate free sodium free shampoo and conditioner and I try to shampoo less frequently. I did not notice a smell initially with this product but my hair does have a smell when it’s wet. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and will use it again.

I love that it has straightened & relaxed my curly hair. However it still has a slight chemical smell 2 weeks later.

It worked great - but even after rinsing the correct amount of time the odor was very strong even after it dried. But by the next day it was almost gone - worth it for the results. My hair did have a different texture and seemed a bit more fragile but I just deep conditioned it and it looks great! I have really frizzy curly hair and I just let it airdry which is something I have never been able to do even with salon Keratin treatments. I am now waiting to see how long it lasts but so far so good!
