Great design. Great water. However, filters are shortlived & filters are expensive.

If there were not PLASTIC parts (the receptacle that receives the water and the filter casing) then I would give this product a rating BEYOND 5 stars. I am perplexed though by the PLASTIC, why??

I cannot know whether the quality of the water is better because I honestly have no indication.
