Your Ears are not telling you the whole story!

So, for the last year and a half I have been attempting to figure out if I have some level of hearing loss. One on one with another person I do fine, put me in a room with others and the sound I want to hear gets lost. Notice I wrote, Want to hear.. What to do? Like 99 percent of the world I head over to a hearing center. They perform testing at what I will call “The high Range”. No sweat! After being subjected to 15 minutes off Press the button when you hear the sound and Release the button when you don’t” I’m told my hearing is fine. Really? Fast forward a year. After being told over and over by my lovely wife I took the plunge and purchased Eargo. Prior to ordering a read up on all the functions, ease of use Ect. Best investment to myself I have ever made. The real test was Thanksgiving Dinner. If your place is like mine it’s non stop talking. My Eargo did exactly what I hoped for, you see, it’s not about volume, it’s about hearing to understand. That is where Eargo excels. Talking is Mid range sound, not high not low. Your brain(if you have been married nor then ten minutes) knows what your better halfs voice sounds like, Without my Eargo’s my wife’s voice was absorbed by all the other sound coming at me. I’m hearing but not pulling her voice out. Eargo makes it easy for me to hear what’s important. Of course, everyone is different. On to the after purchase welcome phone call. My personal hearing helper is “Randy”. Prior to the call I was emailed a picture and short bio on Randy. I felt I already knew him. We spoke for about 30 minutes and went over a few questions. Needless to say. I feel I made a great investment to myself. Do yourself a favor, Do like I did, Perform an honest self evaluation of your hearing needs, read the articles contained on the Eargo we site. If you can relate or find yourself thinking, hey, that’s me! Then go for it! You have a 45 day trail period. One more thing. I’m a retired Vet, I’m grateful the people at Eargo understand and acknowledge or service and sacrifice. Don’t forget to ask for the discount. Thanks to the entire Eargo Team!

Winner!

Wow!!! A free model in the mail 2 days after the initial contact,to see if it fit my ear,the real thing in a week, and a discount besides. Only $2000,/2 not $8000/1 I live on a limited income and have tried to get a hearing aide for 13 years. Beltone lies to me, saying my insurance would cover $8000, and promptly charged me $1700 for it. They forfot to mention they only covered so much/year. Spent 3 tears trying to get one that worked and when the first one didn't work, they took my new one and replaced it with a refurbished one that didn't work either x3. Miracle ear had one that worked but again wanted an outrageous amount of money for it. I told them neither of us had a job and our SS was small. I had to ask them about their "free" gifting program and was promptly handed a stack of loan papers to fill out and they wanted tax returns for years, and a huge stack of paperwork. They might get around to it next year, with an old ,outdated model. Forget both of them in your search.The Eargo sound is great and comfortable. All that pain and suffering for 13 years, gone in a week thanks to Eargo. Type or call as fast as you can to get one. Great Christmas specials Too!. Thanks Eargo.

Better than the ads

It takes a little getting used to, but after a few days they are fantastic. Nobody knows I'm wearing hearing aids until they realize I can understand them without asking them to repeat what they said.

I can HEAR you!

I have been dealing with hearing loss in my left ear for several years, beginning with tinnitus. I've tried several hearing aids, costly, and ineffective for my complaint. Eargo changed everything. The device was virtually invisible and very comfortable. Directions are clear and simple and aids easy to use in my life. I often forget that I have them in my ear!

Faith Walker assisted me in

Faith Walker assisted me in my choosing which hearing device would be best for me based on my hearing loss. Faith knows the product and was very helpful and professional. Alkeyia Woods followed up with a phone call to make sure I had received the hearing device. Alkeyia also reminded me of my next day phone call coming from Renee. Renee Shumaker called at the designated time and explained proper maintenance, proper insert of hearing device into the ear and answered all my questions in a manner that I understood. All three ladies were very informative to me and courteous. Eargo should be proud to have these folks representing their company.
