Have been using the Eargo Plus product for about 10 days now and find it to be a miraculous product. The well thought out design and product production have produced a superior capability to anything else I have seen or checked out. My hearing in noisy locations has improved dramatically and background noise no longer interferes with conversations. If you suffer from reduced hearing ability as I do I strongly encourage you to try Eargo.

They're nice

Five or six days ago I got my Eargo Plus. I installed them and WOW I can hear again, it's been awhile. Clear, understandable language. No overriding extraneous noise to confuse the conversation. I find myself looking for places with lots of people and noise intentionally trying to find their limitations. Haven't yet found that limit. They have no bells or whistles, but they do work. My last pair were belltone. I think they could have made my bed if I read the manual. Eargo are far superior to the Belltone and they are 1/3 the price. I'm sold.

I’ve known I needed hearing aids for several years but never liked the combination of OTE visibility and functionality; the more they did, the larger they were. Eargo solved this problem for me. It does exactly what I need, which is to clarify spoken words while suppressing background noise so that it’s still audible but not intrusive. And they are extremely unobtrusive! No one at home or at work knew when I started wearing them. I can feel their presence for about five minutes after insertion and then completely forget that they’re there unless I have to adjust the sensitivity level. Two suggestions that I hope won’t increase the size(!). First, consider implementing a process to decrease sensitivity in addition to increasing it (three whacks upside the head??). If I’m on level 2 and the phone rings, it’s awkward to return to #1 (best for phone communication) by having to go through 3-4-1. Second, make the software updatable without having to purchase new hardware. Both Eargos together cost what my local audiologist was going to charge for one OTE, which is a huge advantage. But it’s seriously diminished if I have to buy new ones in order to acquire new features. These are outstanding hearing aids. If you try them I’d be shocked if you didn’t wear them indefinitely. Kudos to the engineers who designed these marvels!

These little babies gave me back my hearing. I can hear crickets and buzzing mosquitos again for the first time in years. Taking care of them is a breeze and most people can't even tell if you are wearing them unless you tell them.
