I had no problem with the Eargo. First time was uneventful except I turned my TV down from a volume 20 to 12. I took a couple of whops to the side of my head to get the audio set correctly. It's great. I think the thing I have to watch out for is taking it out at bedtime and showering. Eargo service is fabulous and very supportive. Love the quirky instruction book.

In the weeks before Christmas, everyone wants to meet the big guy! There is a cheerfulness in the air and as they approach Santa, he invites them to sit on his lap! And then the moment they have been waiting for and thinking about - their wish list! Oh NO! I was the Santa kindly asking children to repeat their lists again and again, finally giving in to a series of smiles, nods and "Uh Huhs". With all the new toys each year, I was terrified to learn that so many children wanted to "Hack 'em all" (Hatchimals) or "Wack 'em all" (Wack a Mole). If it weren't for Barbie or Lego I would have been lost! I have five grandchildren of my own and a test run with them has been terrific. I am looking forward to hearing Christmas Wishes more than ever this year!

I put off getting hearing aids because of the cost and the aesthetics. My local audiologist suggested $3500.00 hearing aids that fit behind the ear. That's when I decided to try Eargo. I talked to an audiologist at Eargo and sent him my audiogram. He said that Eargos would work for me. I like the design: they fit in your ear, letting air and sound into the ear and adding high frequencies to make up for my hearing loss. I also like the look. They are essentially invisible in use. The price was right, too. The price with one year of financing was $2100.00. I'm really glad I went with Eargo and I wear them every day. They recharge every night and I always have plenty of charge for the whole day.

I knew when I saw the description for these that it made sense. The open feeling in my ears is great! I often wear inner ear protection and cannot stand the plugged, suffocating feeling for very long. I got used to them after only a couple of days. I cannot believe the new sounds that I hear now. Changing the volume is really easy. Best purchase I made in awhile. Karina (Personal Hearing Guide) and Randy (Personal Hearing Professional) are also great to deal with!
