2 pairs, not yet received/used
It took awhile to navigate the site and of course the usual website sale at the end of my purchase to get an “additional” set of insoles, even though I had just ordered two and $400 is pretty much the limit until I see how they actually fit and feel and work with my shoes and the issues I have. But of course while they are making 2 sets they offer another. Good thing I had FSA dollars for this purchase. The molds came quickly and I got them back to my letter carrier the next day. So, now it’s wait and see how long it takes for them to make them and again, how they fit.
And, if I can supplement these with my current $2000 set of 4 removable and insert-able orthotics and insoles I replace frequently as the plastic of the orthotics rubs on the edges, it will be a good purchase. But I will see how long these last being that I am on my feet for 50+ hours per week and walk 60+ miles per week at my job. I have multiple pairs of safety toe shoes which I change every three hours at this point, since shoe manufacturers can’t seem to make a wide enough shoe/toe box for their safety shoes. I will change these and rotate based on feel and pain, and will be the first to return if they don’t work.
Thought it was kind of silly to upload pictures of my shoes, plus I couldn’t figure out how to upload more than three pictures. You would think the foot molds would be what they base what they are making for you. That might be my one big worry. I gave them all the foot pain info they asked for, but really hoping this isn’t a one size fits all solution. Pour something into a mold and send me some “custom made” insole which is in fact generic.
