This is a serious piece of equipment. It’s heavy-duty, sturdy, and clearly built to handle real weight safely. The frame is solid metal and feels very secure, which is exactly what you want in a patient transfer lift.

The frame of the chair is very heavy duty, and quite solid. Not at all wobbly even when a person is being lifted in or out of it. The legs of it tuck right under my van so I can get my mother right into the seat, without her having to try and slide into it. And then the chair folds up and can be taken anywhere we are going. The legs fold in and the arms tuck away. So it's mostly flat when you need to put it away. The design is excellent, being large enough and heavy enough that it can easily handle the weight of full grown adults without any concern of stability, but also a manageable size so that it can be folded up and tucked under a bed (if there's ample clearance from the floor), put in a trunk or back hatch, or stored in a closet. If you have someone you care for that you need to help move, and don't want to cause yourself or even them to get hurt in the process, this is a wonderful way to get around without difficulty.

Best money I have spent, this lift is great, secured, easy to use, store and move the patient with. It does not pinch and hold the person securely. It is safe. For a at home caregiver this saved my life! I would not be able to move the person from chair to bed without it.
