Abysmal customer service
I've never written a negative review as I tend not to think of the glass being half empty. Although this time I feel compelled to share my experience in the hope it will get the company to review its procedure for returning goods that are faulty.
I brought a sphygmometer and upon opening it I realized straight away it was malfunctioning. it was unable to inflate. When I contacted medshop and told then the product was faulty and explained why. They sent an email to me saying they needed more details...I replied saying I could send them a video of it not inflating. They sent a strange email in return saying "your return request has been approved" - like I was lucky to get it or something. No apology for supplying defunct medical gear that obviously hasn't been quality checked - pretty shocking for medical equipment. The email also included information stating I had to pay for the return shipping to Australia from NZ and "administration fee of 20%" for change of mind. Then when I went to look on returns policy page it replied with "page not found". All in all a crap service for something that is in no way my fault yet I've had to fork out the bill for. I will not be buying from them again. Please medshop address these issues for your unsuspecting next victim.....
