Well worth the cost—and it works!
I wore a custom made (dentist) mouth device that pulls my lower jaw forward and gives my tongue extra space so that it does not block my airway when I am sleeping.
I had a learning curve to get used to my ZQuiet device. Saliva gathering in my mouth, sucking too hard because I worried that it would get out of position while I was sleeping. I followed the directions to remove a sliver of the lower jaw part of my ZQuiet as it was rubbing painfully on my inner gums. Once I did this and used a bit of sand paper to smooth out the edge, the problem was solved.
I feel this is a great substitute for an expensive custom made device and I think the resistance hinge is a great invention.
I wear an oximeter every night that records my O2 levels & my pulse and my results with ZQuiet are comparable with the one made by my dentist.
And I will never travel with my expensive dentist made device now that I have my ZQuiet device.
