Best solution for me after a long search for quiet.
I was skeptical about the Zquiet because 1) I have not tolerated even small mouthguards for anti-grinding in the past and 2) I did not see how it could stay in place without molding to the teeth. While I don't love having the Zquiet in my mouth, it is actually less annoying than the small anti grind guards I have tried, and other than the initial (mild in my case) tooth ache, I am finishing a month of use and have no problem with nightly use. It stays in place because the "living hinge" pushes it open lightly- just enough so that when totally relaxed the jaws are separated a bit, and the device remains in place. I don't know if this is purely an aid to keeping it where it belongs, or if the slight mouth opening adds to the jaw advancement for snore reduction. My snore score dropped immediately and has stayed in a much better zone according to both an app and my very appreciative wife. I was about 1.5 years into monitoring with the app with some small success using exercises, sleep hygiene, and various devices including mouth tape, ball worn on the back, tongue extender, but never consistently staying quiet. I tried a moldable jaw advancement device that reduced snoring, but it was bulkier and less comfortable than the ZQuiet, and despite the molding, it would get out of position at points during the night and snoring returned. Only consistent solution for me at this point. Drooling was pretty severe initially but much better after a couple of weeks.
