I really like the Cefaly. I think it has helped quite a bit and it's nice to not have another maintenance medication to take. I have noticed that my abortive migraine medicine works better too. One great thing is that, while I still have migraines, they are not as frequent, and the day to day headaches have almost disappeared. I do rather wish I had purchased the prevent system rather than the dual system. I have not been able to adjust to the intensity of the acute setting, so that is something to consider.

I’m a chronic migraine sufferer. For me, I get 2-3 migraines per week with the Cefaly use daily. This device helped reduce my migraines by about 20% per week - I track everything. I use the 20 minute daily setting when I don’t have a migraine, however, when I do have one I use the 1 hour setting and it absolutely reduces the length of the migraine. This is the biggest benefit of the Cefaly in my opinion. I used to take my rescue meds and wait. Now, using Cefaly with meds can knock out a migraine inside an hour about 80% of the time. I recommend only purchasing the Dual Cefaly as it is a much better value.

The sessions are relaxing and helpful but the quality control on the electrode pads is not adequate. Some new pads don't stick well causing pain and discomfort when they dislodge.

The device is great. The initial shipment was quick and painless. Ordering and recieving electrodes is very frustrating. there is either no support available or it is really hard to find.

Two patients tried it. One is quite pleased. The other said it was not helpful at all. So, you are batting . 500 with a sample size of two.
