Absolute Generators

I was promised a Mobil generator by mid November... I still have no generator.

It's been three weeks since I ordered a generator and my VISA got charged instantly for the full price - over $3,000.00 - but still no generator. I have been informed by the company that there is a delay in shipping for about 1 1/2 months. I understand that, but why charge my credit card when nothing is shipped. I consider that bad business practices.

Pricing is a little high in my opinion, but i’d rather just buy something when I find it then shop around looking for the best deal. The parallel kit I ordered came in a timely fashion, but within the same order I had to have a 1 foot long adapter cord. Little did I know it wouldn’t ship together and with no notification from the company over two weeks later it still hasn’t shipped. Wouldn’t be a huge deal, but it was $300 for a 1 foot adapter, which I felt paying a ton of money for such a small item would at least ensure me prompt shipping. Still waiting on it hoping it comes soon. Customer Service finally responded stating it was a couple weeks out still. Too bad I needed it quicker than that and could’ve had that piece made locally for about half the price. Something you would expect the company to notify you without having to ask them the status, especially when you order it in conjunction with another item.
