Tags are nice - good support. Have about 7 of them, very easy to setup and get going.

I'm using a variety of tags and find them convenient and accurate. Battery life could always be a little better but they do last about 6 months (shorter if in a freezer) and they now have an external extended battery option. The Kumo apps are easy to construct; my tags write updates to a home automation controller for reporting and control purposes, but I like the mobile app as well for the graphs/trending data. Great for monitoring whether the freezer door has been left open, when someone opens our man-door, keeping watch over a humidor, temps at a remote summer home, etc. Very handy.
