Amana 12 inch HSS jointer blades
I was surprised and disappointed to find that the blades were uneven. One was over a 1/16" longer than the others, which led to it nicking the chip chute, no matter how far forward I set the blade. None were very square on the ends, but most troubling was that the cutting edges were slightly bowed. High in the middle, low on the ends. I thought maybe I was setting then up wrong, or that my jointer cutter head was warped. But laying the blades flat on top of my my table saw, edge to edge, and there is a visible gap at the ends when the middles touch. Hard to imagine how I can flatten a board with curved blades...
