Took a bit to get used to, but overall happy
We've been sleeping on our hybrid slumber system (medium firmness) for about a month and a half. Overall, I am happy with the bed. It did take a while for my body to adjust. I have lower back pain and I love that I can actually lay flat on my back on this bed without any pain. I sink into the pillow top layer (ordered Talalay) just a bit and it provides the support I need. I am typically a side sleeper, and for the first week or so I had upper back pain and sore shoulders. I did not initially use the pillows that came with the bed as I already had a pillow I loved. However, I realized that on this bed, my old pillow was causing my head to not be level and that was causing my pain. I switched to the new pillows from Luma Sleep - which are amazing - and the problems stopped. Now that I've given my body adequate time to adjust, I can say that I am satisfied with my bed. I did consider swapping out to the plush comfort layer, but given my back pain, I think staying with the medium will be the best thing for me. My husband hasn't had a single complaint since the first night.
We do experience some motion transfer when I am rolling over at night, but it's much less than my previous traditional pillow top mattress. The side edge is not as stiff as the old mattress, but I've figured out how to sit on the edge without sliding off.
We are over 55 adults, 5' 10" and 5' 4" (me) each weighing 190 - 200 lbs.
