Love this mattress

This is the only foundation I could find with the slats close enough together that also had legs. It required a little bit of putting together but it wasn't too hard. It does need two people to put together though. The only thing I didn't like was all the wood shavings in the box I had to really vacuum good after putting it together because I was scared of getting splinters. So far its great, it doesn't make any noise and seems very sturdy.

I spent weeks and countless hours researching beds and watching videos and reading message boards. We had been sleeping on a Serta gel foam firm mattress...miserable. Luna was checking all the right boxes for us, but I couldn’t find many reviews on it outside their company so I was nervous. My husband and I are 5’4/140 lbs and 5’3/148 lbs and are side sleepers that need pressure relief and a very soft bed that doesn’t sleep hot. Foam mattresses were out and after going to the stores and researching we wanted a hybrid with Talalay latex for bounce and also a super plush pillow top. None of the box beds seem to have a plush pillow top. We settled on the original purple but it was too firm so we had to return it. We didn’t want to take that chance so we started calling companies to discuss our needs and try to figure out what he’s was right because many YouTube reviews only review medium firm beds. We settled on the Brooklyn Bedding latex hybrid and the best bedding latex hybrid and the Luca latex hybrid as possible soft options. All 3 companies had excellent customer service when we called to deep dive, but Luma said they could accommodate an even softer request than what their site offered. Excellent customer service and the ability to swap out the topper without returning the mattress pushed me to take a chance. My husband and I love the mattress and are both finally NOT waking up sore or in a pool of sweat and I’m sleeping through the night . Sex was also a big reason we didn’t want foam and we wanted a hybrid...this bed has plenty of recoil! The bed is very bouncy so be warned, but we love that, because the latex pushes back to support my spine, but also gives in where I need pressure relief. The softness level we requested special order was 19, Talalay latex 3 inches for the topper. No pillow top though and at 14 inches in height we really don’t have room to add one. So far it is not affecting our sleep 3 weeks in to owning the mattress. I hope this helps the smaller people out there because finding a soft bed is not easy...I had the purple and this bed at the same time and I would go from one to the other for comparison. They are light years apart in softness.
