Participating Wineries and Vineyards

The wine pass worked on sterling vineyards; however, Castello di Amorosa did not accept the pass although it is listed as a participant on the priority wine pass page. I did not find out until after I purchased the pass.

It's OK

Years ago we bought this pass for Napa. Due to the insanely high prices in nape for a simple tasting, it seemed to help save us money. We just bought the pass again for Paso and it wasn't as useful. First, the tastings are way less there. Second, many of the wineries offer 2 for 1 deals on Yelp just for checking in. Third, unless you are going simply to drive around and drink bits of wine, most of the wineries wave the tasting fee if you buy a bottle or two, which we normally did.

Is it worth it?

Most vineyards we visited actually waived our tasting and tour fees if we purchased a couple of bottles of wine or joined their wine clubs, which we always did so for us this pass wasn’t necessary. However, I suppose if you just go around tasting it can be a great deal.
