Good Pass with Some Issues

My friend and I both have passes, which we each paid for, in our respected names. I had previously purchased SIP California passes every year but changed to Priority because it appeared that SIP was no longer in business. I have been enjoying the Priority Pass, however these issues exist. In a posted online response, Priority Pass answered a prospective purchaser's question by indicating...(paraphrasing) that in certain areas a pass is required for each person to get free tastings, while in other areas, a couple may obtain free tastings for two with one pass" We have not found this to be the case, anywhere. Approximately 70% of your winery locations will only grant one free tasting, even though each person has their own pass. There typical response is that their commitment is "2 for 1 only" no matter how many passes have been purchased. We quickly learned this at Cambria Winery in Santa Maria. Other issues were as follows: When we arrived at Landmark Winery in the Russian River area, we were met with a "snooty" comment by the server that they did not honor the pass. We had to show them your online list before they agreed to the terms. During our visit to Lodi, we stopped by Cabana Tasting room 3 times only to find a closed sign on the door. On this note, Lodi is a very prominent wine region, yet only 7 wineries are listed on the Priority pass. ...and, lastly, the listing for Tooth and Nail Winery in Paso Robles is "laughable." They offer a "splash" of wine only after you have paid the full price for tasting. Lastly, it would be a great benefit to your pass members if you could publish a small pamphlet, listing all of your wineries, by region. Something that could be kept in the car!!! We ARE enjoying our passes!!!

Upsale pressure

Enjoyed several wineries. They do try to upsale to a reserve or other special flight. We didn't realize it a few times and paid more. Seems like after 2 tastings we lose all intelligence and tasting ability. Many selections were beautiful.

I only had a couple

I only had a couple of opportunities to use it this trip but one was disappointing. I went to William Hill with Laces and Limos and said I was a winepass member and would like to utilize my pass only to find out that since I came with Laces and Limos that I had to have a different tasting that wasn't covered . ??!! : (

Concierge service very useful

I had almost no time to plan this trip and the concierge gave good suggestions, and made a very nice “itinerary” for us! The opportunity for improvement is that almost no winery gives you any discount for tours. The discounts are real and the year card payoff in 2 days of travel!
