Sheptone Pickups

Very impressed with these pickups! Major upgrade from my stock Classic 57s that we’re in my SG. The pickups are extremely clear sounding and sound amazing when pushed to higher volumes. This was the exact sound I was looking for for years. I will definitely look to purchase more from Sheptone.

Installed on Epiphone Limited Edition Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Goldtop. ToneManGuitar 59 wiring also. Excellent tone! There was nothing wrong with the Gibson Burstbuckers that were originally in this guitar, but I rarely played it. Now with the ABs it’s played nearly half the time I play. I never played an original PAF LP, but this is what I imagined it would sound like. I waffled on which pickups to get, hoping the ABs wouldn’t be too hot and too close to my Slash APH2 equipped LP. But hell, good enough for Slash & Billy,… This guitar now feels very vintage, the gain and tone sound perfect. I’m playing a wide spectrum of gain levels with this setup, clean to high gain, Blackfoot to Rush. Killer pickups!

Amazing pickups even on an ESP horizon

I already owned a set in one guitar, and decided to put a set in another. These pickups are awesome. Dealing with Sheptone is a great experience.
