I finalized my order to an i7 quad core 27" iMac. After putting the order and paid, I got a voice message (and email) that i7 processor is not available (or not passed the tests) and instead they can have it replaced with an i5 (waiving the shipping cost < $30 for me as the courtesy.) Well, I ended up getting the i5, but I wanted to get an i7. (And I'm not sure if this is sort of a trick to get you put the order first and then change it to something available in the inventory). However, as a suggestion, it seems reasonable to me that the web front-end should be synchronized to really "deliverable" items, so that the customer gets exactly what he/she has put as an order.

My first purchase with Gainsaver and the laptop came with missing OS. I was able to get a RMA very quickly. However, there are really no way to get in touch with customer service except through email.

My Macbook Pro is working fine, but it's only been a week or so. But my power adapter stopped working. I took it to an Apple store to test it on another Mac, and it didn't work. The guy at the genius bar didn't know I hadn't bought it at Apple and replaced it with a new one. On closer examination he saw that it came from a non Apple company and said it's probably a knockoff. He said he had already put the order through for the power adapter and offered it to me to keep. It spared me being without one if I had contact Gainsaver to replace it.

Site was easy to navigate, product came quickly, everything running properly. Very happy with the purchase!
