Zhumell Z8 Deluxe Dobsonian Reflector

This is my first telescope. I did quite a lot of research before purchasing this telescope and am quite pleased with this product. It's performance is all that I'd expected and more. I haven't had it long and am still getting used to it, but the views are amazing. A wonderful product at a very reasonable price

So cool

I bought it for my daughter and it's amazing. I'm thinking of buying different lenses. It's her first one. Lol. I never had one. It's was easy to set up. We were just waiting on a clear sky. I was alil worried because we live behind a grocery store and there is lights everywhere. But, we seen the Moon. It was amazing.

Great First Scope

I chose the Zhumell Z8 Deluxe for my first scope and was not disappointed. Both packages arrived undamaged and no missing items. This is the first telescope I've ever used or owned and found it easy to assemble and use. I defiantly appreciate the dual speed focuser, quality mount hardware, and included laser collimator. With some adjustments to tension it's easy to track objects with this scope. I can only think that tracking would be harder with other similar scopes from other brands. After a few youtube videos I was able to collimate the scope no problem. My first time in the backyard I was able to get Jupiter in my eyepiece in a matter of seconds and was able to see the cloud bands. The included eyepieces seem adequate, but after a few days I was curious and bought a Celestron 7mm EP which allowed a much clearer view of Jupiter's bands and the wide view allows easier viewing and more room for objects to travel before having to move the scope. If Jupiter seems to have an apparent size of a pea, then Saturn was slightly larger than a BB and darker. I was just able to make out some cloud bands and the Cassini division in the rings. Either the light pollution is too bad here in KC area or I'm not working or pointing my hardware correctly because I've not had any luck spotting any galaxies or nebula yet. Can't wait to take this scope out to a nice dark patch of countryside as I'll bet the views will be far greater than the backyard.
