An excellent value!

I am exceptionally pleased with this purchase; they stood up very well in side by side use with other pairs I had available. I decide to purchase the 12x70s after a trip out to the finger lakes and the opportunity to use a pair of 7x50 Bushnell binoculars, made me realize I was missing out. I knew I'd need something better as the light pollution is far worse than where I am, so I bought two pairs of binoculars (these 12x70s and a pair of zooming 15-30x70 Chinese knockoffs) , plus a dug up a 3rd pair from my closet 7x35 Bushnells. The Zhumells immediately stood out. There collimation was spot on they were easy to calibrate to my vision, and the light gain is excellent at night. The difference between these and the 7x35s is absolutely shocking. I felt the optical coating really helped the Zhumells in comparison to the other pair I bought. The zoom binoculars were inferior in every way, excepting raw magnification.  With a tripod you can clearly see the moons of jupiter and yet they are easy to pan and search with simply by resting them on my arm. I will say a female friend had issues with extended use, as they do weigh 3.3lb. But she hated switching back to the 7x35s! To summarize: Amazing for their value, and great for looking at the night sky even in an urban, light polluted environment.

Nice 2" Barlow

Nice quality piece for the money. 2" 2x barlow with 1.25" adapter. Works great with the 30mm & 9mm eyepieces supplied with the Zhumell Z8 Dob. I would recommend and especially if getting started and expanding your eyepiece collection, etc. like I am.

The telescope I purchased has been a extremely wonderful experience for my family. Many hours have been spent already, gazing at the moon.

It's everything they say

I've taken the Ethos 13mm out for a few nights under suburban light pollution, and it's stood out like a gem every night. The 100 degree view makes it to the ragged edge of my vision. In my f/4.92 Dobs, the view turns a bit red and fuzzy towards the very edge if I look directly that far, but everything is clear and consistent across the vast majority of the field.
