Ordered a star diagonal, listed as in stock on the website. It was out of stock, so without asking me, they shipped a filter valued at less than half the price, instead. So far, have not refunded my money. Had to open a dispute with the credit card.

The on and off switch as well as the hand held navigator don't work. Customer service is non-existent as we were told we had to work directly with the manufacturer to arrange replacement or repair. Furthermore, TelescopesPlus would not give us the contact information for the manufacturer as they claimed they had no way of getting that information themselves. It took over a week to make contact with the manufacturer who then questioned the legitimacy of our purchase. The $5 reward for providing this review is useless as we will not be making any more purchases via TelescopePlus. They should be refunding $5 to us for Christmas gift disappoint they compounded. Apparently, a $500+ purchase is not significant enough to warren any customer service.

Even though this product was very inexpensive, I found it not even usable.. tried to return it, and got no response from the company

We have NEVER been able to focus the scope. It was the most disappointing thing I've ever purchased since it was a Christmas present for a 12 year old. I think I should be reimbursed for the entire product.

I really regret the purchase. I still have the box and everything. I purchased this item last year for my husband for Christmas. He was so excited to get it! Either a part on it didn't work correctly or it was too difficult to figure out how to use. After he tried and tried to figure it out, it was no use. He was so very disappointed. I really wish we could send it back and get a refund but I'm sure it's way too late by now. It just makes me sad to know I spent over $300 something that won't ever be used.
