I purchased a 500.00 telescope for my husband as a Xmas gift. It came a bit early for Xmas but when he opened it , we realized it would not work For bird watching which he wanted it for. After Xmas I called to exchange It for one that would suit that purpose. I was told it would not be exchanged, asked for a manager, person on phone said " I'm in charge And I don't have to exchange or refund". I got no help! Still have unusable instrument and we are using a 29.95 bionoculars to watch the birds! Customer service advertised is a hoax! Disappointed! Jan

This is back in the box having proven to complicated for some very techy HARVARD grads.

Spent $10,000 on a 14" Celestron with all the bells and whistles for Christmas 2015. Assembled it but did not plug it in until May of 2016, too heavy and too cold. It did not work. Called Telescopes Plus, response, we can't help you. Great answer after spending $10,000. FYI - months later, Celestron finally stepped up to the plate.

I find it very difficult to use. I thought it would be a good beginner telescope.

This was ordered as a Christmas present. Unfortunealy all the boxes had what was inside printed on the outside of the box. It spoiled my wifes Christmas
