New price wise Ted's is competitive often on headline equipment, but on non headline equipment this is less reliable. On used equipment I think the checks appear rushed. Ted's customer service ethos excellent and this continues in practice, but I can't help but feel things could be smoother for all if the checks were a bit more robust upfront. Nothing to worry about as it's all solved quickly, but any minor inconvenience nonetheless more possible than might be necessary.

Ted's is my go-to mainstream retailer of new and used Nikon gear. The online service (fairly) fast and (very) reliable. Do I 'cheat' on Ted's with cheaper grey-market suppliers? Occasionally but less often than you might think. Cameras and lenses are complex beasts and I like knowing thatthere are knowledgeable people who have my back if something goes wrong. Can I make a request? Please show the shuttercounts on your secondhand cameras!

I had a problem with a product. After repairing it once it faulted again. Teds were great and organised a refund as I was not happy with the products reliability.

Hi, Your staff and customer service are excellent. The reason I gave 4 stars is because your prices are usually several hundred dollars dearer than your competition on each item. I plan to buy some more Fujifilm GF lenses in the future and would like to buy from your company if competitive. Regards Kevin

Lose a point because twice before I purchased a 2nd hand item, only to be advised later that it was not available. The online cart transaction Is also quite slow compared to other retailers. I have also added items to the cart and went onto continue my shopping and then some form of time-out happens and my cart is empty. Viewing the online items can be really slow. Here are a few points of feedback: 1. Having to load the screen when you get to the end is slow. Good online sites allow you to nominate how many items to see at one time. 2. The filtering of items can be clunky - not enough granularity to limit other items eg. I don't want to see all the accessories, only to see the lenses.
