Very happy with the router, definitely feels like an upgrade in every way compared to the outgoing, no longer (officially) supported Asus AC86U. The website was easy to use to place the order, and I like the points scheme initiative. The service was good too in terms of updates about the order. The price was slightly cheaper buying direct from GL-INET compared to Amazon, but the delivery from Amazon would have been much, much faster.

Flint 3 (GL-BE9300) Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Home Router I’ve been using the Flint 3 and overall, it’s been an excellent experience. The router delivers on all its promises: - *VPN support* works flawlessly — super easy to set up and stable. - The built-in *Adblock* is effective and helps keep things clean while browsing. - *Performance* is great in terms of speed and features. Everything runs smoothly. However, there's one downside: the *Wi-Fi signal strength*. Even just two walls between the router and a device cause the signal to drop to less than half, which is disappointing for a device of this level and price. Other than that, it’s perfect for my needs. If you plan to use it in an open space or a small flat, it’s ideal. For larger homes or thick walls, you may need an access point.

Impressed with its capabilities ! I intend to use it on my boat currently in the Baltic, so Denmark / Sweden etc and especially impressed with the eSIM capability. I am concerned over the high operating temperature - the web admin panel is showing the processor at 70 degrees and the outside of the case is hot. I’ve also found it would not connect to the EE network when testing it at home in the UK - even after updating to the latest software version as recommended by Gl-inet support. However, the positives massively outlay the negatives and I’m happy to recommend it.
