I bought the mini-Router GL-A1300 because of newer Technology than my AR750, which I used for over 5 years. Although Shadowsocks was mentioned as feature, I couldn’t set it up (as client!) under OpenWrt). Asking for help, gl-inet referred to the forum. In documentation v2 it is clearly described, but this is not working for GUI v4 anymore. So, completely unsatisfactory. I will now just use it in my home network, but it was not intended for that use. By the way, OpenVPN and WireGuard are perfectly to setup, both as server as well as client. Shipping is good and fast.

It works, it does its job, but it's missing one very important thing to stand out from the others: a mobile app that would allow you to write commands and control the BIOS. Basically, if the same application you install on Windows could also be installed on a mobile phone. That would truly be a differentiator. Until then, it's just another KVM that does its job.

Quick delivery, but I was confused if slate 7 is a mobile router with eSIM support. Google search was wrong on this. It is not supported.

Cecile is very helpful and supportive, for which I am appreciative. There are problems are related to shipping. Typical transit time for my orders is about 6 days. Sometimes a shipment gets stuck with an intermediary carrier (seems to be 4PX) for several days, resulting in a very long total transit time.
