Purchased a USA Sim Card

Purchased a USA Sim Card - Unlimited 4G Data (T-Mobile) card on 27 February 24, and requested an activation date for 27 March 24 in readiness for my trip to the USA starting 29 March. On checking SIM card activation on 27 March, all looked go as my mobile phone recognised the card and advised it was active on the T-Mobile network, I even had a text message from T-Mobile. However, on arrival in the USA New York, SIM card failed to attach to the T-Mobile network yet my mobile still advised that it knew about the USA SIM card, but the connection icon just spun and spun and failed to register. My own EE SIM card connected straight away, but did not wish to use my EE SIM due to high cost of data etc. Thinking it might be a issue as still within the airport complex, I tried again at hotel, no joy. My own EE SIM still connected okay. Thought it might be an issue with the local mobile aerial station, so tried again and again in many areas of New York, still no joy. I became very annoyed and let down of the card I had bought. If I attempted to contact SIMCorner using my EE SIM card it would have been very expensive, plus as it was Good Friday, I felt it was pointless to try and ask for help over the Easter weekend. On the following Tuesday (1 April 24), I moved down to Washington DC, and again the USA SIM card failed to register, yet my own EE SIM connected okay. As I was flyingback to UK on 4 April, I felt it was pointless trying to contact SIMCorner for the sake of three days. I feel very let down with this purchase. In the UK, the card gave the postive indications it was registered and ready to go to the USA, but on arrival absolutley nothing. A complete waste £43. What a rip off.

Bought a data only sim

Bought a data only sim but received that many data mining spam text message ads that I had to set my phone to 'do not disturb'. Avoid sim corner and purchase from a reputable source on arrival (which actually works out significantly better value)
