I ordered Ultimaker brand filament for automatic detection with my printer. The spool is not automatically recognized, it seems to be because the filament is re-spooled onto an old ABS NFC spool. Also, the filament did not print well, even after adjusting the settings. It seems very old.

Took 4 days to ship something they had in stock but otherwise they were pleasant and I’ll order from them one more time to see the font was a fluke.

My printer currently works quite well. However, when I received it, it did not work. I had all the settings correct (like quintuple checked) but my nozzle was reading -15 degrees c. I tried contacting customer service more than once to no avail. Finally I looked to online forums and found out I had a bad thermistor out of the box. I had to go to a local shop to pick up a whole new hot end assembly and got it replaced. Printer finally works. I used up the filament that it came with and loaded a new spool of pla from 3D universe. The spool was wound in a way that about a quarter of the way through the filament the feed became trapped underneath other wraps of itself and quit feeding. It caused a big malfunction in my print and I had to start over. Very frustrating start to a hopefully smooth hobby. Everything is finally working well now and I am getting quality prints from my printer. Good purchase just a few inconvenient set backs

We are going to order more filament. I don't believe making a decision on a first buy. We review filaments, but wasn't impressed with the PLA. Raise 3D & Protopasta printed with ease. We will be doing more test and ordering more filament. It feels and looks like it would print like butter. I think we got a bad batch because the PLA was brittle. It would snap in half.

VERY SLOW delivery. I still do not have half of my order.
