Pedal Genie

A cool idea but after several months of subscription was still unable to try out several pedals on my list. I'm assuming it was due to limit supply but ultimately it wasn't worth the money or the wait.

Pros...Great idea,Pedals were on time, clean, and worked properly at an affordable price. Cons...Not enough pedals in stock.

Overall the service was great. The issues I had were; -Actually getting the pedals I wanted, but I knew that going in. Maybe if this can be alleviated in some way I would consider trying the service out again. -Shipping times/wait times in between pedals was very long, it was almost a full week in between pedals. So if I got a pedal I knew wasn't going to work out right away after receiving it, it would take a long time to get the next one. This isn't necessarily pedal genie's fault but I hadn't really considered this so really the $40 a month was a bit steep if this happened twice a month and I really only had a few days with any pedals during that time. I think maybe the lower option with paying for shipping might have been better for me.

Cool service but with shipping times I was only trying 2 pedals per month. I was only using the pedals for a single evening per time, getting them right back in the mail as fast as possible, but still wound up taking weeks. Didn't make sense for me. I would need be trying at least 4 pedals per month. Maybe there can be a pedal genie "pool" like uberpool where people near you can send you their pedals? You could have a tracking system where you can know what pedals are near you, and even request from those users? Best of luck!

Every thing would be good, except the fact that we can't get the pedals, that we want, you just send whatever you can.
