Pedal Genie

I have been a subscriber twice, so I think that means I like the service. Pros: Pedal Selection, customer service and the entire concept Cons: mail turnaround time in between pedals, queue system is flawed in my opinion, I'd like to see more pricing options available

I like the idea of the flex payment because I don't stress out about returning my pedals as quickly, knowing its cheaper if I keep the pedal around. In the end I think i probably pay as much as I did on the standard payment plan. The shipping has improved a lot, but I don't think i would pay anymore than this for this program. The best part of pedal genie i have found is not just playing a bunch of different pedala, but finding out I don't like them before I buy it. I waste less money now tha I did before the program.

It's a cool service for someone with lots of disposable income or maybe a professional musician, but for a regular person who just wants to try out pedals the cost is not justifiable.

It's pretty nice to be able to check some things out before buying! The only thing that took it down a star is the first pedal I received was one of the lowest on my list. Hopefully next one will be one of my top picks!

My only complaint, is that there are times when pedals in a persons top 5 are not available and may not be available on several attempts. However, that is my only complaint. Cool experience and a cool way to try out pedals.
