Wifi is a must have
I am very happy with my meater block. Multiple probes for different points in the Turkey or for multiple streaks to ensure each is cooked to the correct temperature. The wifi in the block maintains my connection so I can monitor the temperature on mt phone from anywhere in the house. Walls and distance made bluetooth unreliable for monitoring my temps. For steak, I find the final "doneness"to be less precise than sous vide, but that is to be expected. Getting all the steaks done just right does require some practice to know the exact temperature settings for each person's tastes. The app does a good nod of adjusting for oven or grill temperature but I've found I get better results with different temperatures and better still with temperature adjustments during the cooking process. Fyi, I also recommend the metal tabs, easier to see which is which and make it easier to remove the probes from the block. Until I got the tabs I used slips of paper.
